Clean Email is the bulk cleanup tool. Inbox Hero is an AI that files the noise, drafts your replies, answers questions about your mail, and quarantines phishing — for one flat $10/mo (or $99/yr) after a 30-day free trial. Where Clean Email is a fine choice
Clean Email is built for one-time inbox cleanups: bulk-delete, unsubscribe, and rule-based auto-clean. It's great for a spring-clean, but it isn't a continuous assistant.
Where Inbox Hero pulls ahead
- Designed for periodic cleanup, not continuous, hands-off triage.
- No AI assistant — it can't answer questions about your inbox or draft replies.
- No fraud/phishing quarantine.
- You still do the deciding; it just makes bulk actions faster.
On top of that, Inbox Hero adds capabilities most tools in this space simply don't have — an AI you can ask about your inbox, replies drafted in your voice, and a Fraud folder that intercepts phishing and malware.
